My independent learning project is an edmodo assignment, quiz,video, and poll for my 5th grade students about the key shortcuts on a computer. The assignment is matching certain key shortcuts with the correct name for them, and the quiz and video is on the same material just in multiple choice questions. This is really helpful because it would help the students learn over and over again the key shortcuts I am trying to teach them. It will seem like it is repeating, but the students won't forget the material that is being taught to them.

ReplyDeleteAlso, you should check out http://www.socrative.com/ it is a helpful site when making quizzes and tests, and it allows you to see each students progress as they work.

ReplyDeleteThis is great website that you should look into for typing games for students. When using the key shortcut assignment, how do you plan to provide it to the students? Do you plan on printing it out or having them download it and then save and submit?
I looked into that website too, and I really enjoyed it! I would see what is best for the students, so most probably, I would ask them before it was due, which way they would rather do it.Then from there, I would do whatever is best for the students.
